Ferrari will debut the most powerful car they've ever created, the 812 Superfast at the Geneva Auto Show, Switzerland next month.
The front wheel drive is an update of the Berlinetta F12 version but with a larger capacity inspired from the V-12 engine.
With a new 6.5L V-12 engine capable of scattering 789 horsepower that will reach top speed at 340 km / h with acceleration of 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.9 seconds.
"There is no front-end engine capable of producing this much power," Ferrari said in an official statement on Friday (17/2).
This super car is the latest version of the F12 dual-clutch gerbox with a faster displacement. This is a new technology including electric power steering, the first for Ferrari. The system is integrated with the vehicle's dynamic controls to make it even more powerful but easier to control and more dramatic.
Visually, compared to F12 included is the removal of air intake parallel to the rear LED lights.
Air intake above the main lights creates a new aerodimanis sensation to keep the car stable while driving at high speed.
Ferrari managed to sell 392 units of F12 in Europe last year, up 30 percent from 2015. This is the third best sale for Ferrari in Europe after 488 and California.
812 Superfast will compete with the Aston Martin D11, which also immerse the V-12 engine. D11 capacity of four passengers, while 812 Superfast only two seats.
